Anne shares over 15 years of therapeutic experience working with children, teenagers, parents, adults, couples and groups. She supports her clients to address the medical, environmental, genetic, neurological and social factors involved.
Through professional guidance, Anne and her clients develop new perspectives and strategies to develop self-awareness and personal growth. Her client find the courage, skills and resiliency to produce pathways for change in their present environments in the family, social and professional relationships.
Anne integrates therapies to help clients to heal in life transitions, familial/relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, anger, social phobia, self regulation, anger management, OCD, ADHD, HF Autism, Aspergers and trauma. Anne practices a holistic approach to encourage the physical, mental/emotional and social aspects of healing.
Anne J Ford received an MSW, Masters in Clinical Social Work from The University of St. Thomas and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). She integrates CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Play Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and psychodynamic therapies, and TFT (Thought Field Therapy) in her work with clients.Anne has trained in Autism/ Aspergers through the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota.
